BOURNE — Case kept its perfect early-season record intact by defeating Bourne 35-14 in their South Coast Conference Gold opener on Friday at Bourne High School.

Quarterback Danny Silva rushed 10 times for 108 yards and a touchdown. Brady Thiboutot rushed for 98 yards and two touchdowns on just five carries. And Logan Medeiros added 47 yards and a touchdown on 10 rushes.

Alex Janicki caught a 70-yard touchdown pass from Silva.

Tyler Cabral kicked three extra points.

The Cardinals are 3-0.

The first quarter featured 21 points. Silva's 38-yard touchdown run and Thiboutot's 6-yard TD run made it 14-0. Bourne's Jaimon Scott answered with a 65-yard touchdown run making it 14-7.

Case outscored Bourne 14-0 in the second quarter. Janicki caught his big TD pass and Thiboutot rushed 14 yards for his second touchdown and a 28-7 halftime lead.

Case went up 35-7 in the third quarter on Medeiros' 3-yard rush.

Bourne's Alex Duval scored on a 6-yard rush in the fourth quarter.
