The Concord-Carlisle High boys lacrosse team lost to Medfield, 9-7, in the  Division 2 Central-East final on Thursday afternoon on a rainy, chilly day at Natick High School.

 With that loss , the second-seeded Patriots ended the year at 18-3. Medfield, the top seed, improved to 19-2.

 The Patriots trailed, 4-2, at the half and, 7-3, after the third quarter.

 They stormed back scoring four-straight times to tie the game at seven with 2:58 left in the fourth quarter, but the Warriors scored the game’s final two goals.

 Derek Stout led the attack with three goals while Jack Bowen and Alexi Hunt both scored twice. Bowen also had three assists to finish with five points.

Brad Labadini added two assists.

 Patriots goalie, Ben Anastos, made 14 saves.

 Medfield was led in scoring by Jim Cosoito, Tommy Gill and Sam Hedges who all scored twice.

Warriors goalie, Peter Barrette, made seven saves.
