Trails: dawn to dusk; Nature Center: Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday, Sunday and Monday holidays, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Adults $4, children under 12 and seniors $3. Nine miles of scenic walking trails through fields, woods, and along the Charles River include a 1/4-mile wheelchair accessible trail and boardwalk along Indian Brook.
The eco-friendly Visitor Center, a renovated historic horse barn, features solar heat and electricity, rainwater collection and composting toilets. Preregistration required for most programs.
The center offers gallery space for local artists. Exhibit hours are Tuesday-Friday from 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m-5 p.m. Call ahead (508-655-2296) as the exhibit space may be unavailable due to program use.
NOTE: Due to the governor's stay at home advisory, Broadmoor's trails are now closed to the public. Programs have been canceled through March 31.
