Sensory Storytime with Northeast Arc: 10-10:45 a.m. Mondays through June 22. Storytime includes singing, active play, stories and art activities! For kids ages 18-60 months, with caregiver participation.
Story Time Yoga with Northeast Arc: 11 a.m.-noon Mondays through June 22. This gentle yoga story time focuses on caregiver/child bonding while working on little ones’ gross/fine motor development, body awareness, socialization, calming strategies and more. Each program will include stories, songs, movement and fun! For children ages 12-36 months and their caregivers.
Digital Drop In: 6-7 p.m. Mondays. Stop by the Reference Desk on Monday evenings for help with technology questions. Can’t make it? Stop by anytime. Free and open to the public.
Preschool Storytime: 11-11:30 a.m. Tuesdays through March 10. Stories, songs, and occasional crafts. For children 3-5 years old, without caregiver participation (independent).
Experiment!: 4-4:45 p.m. Tuesdays through March 10. Hands-on science experiments inspired by Steve Spangler’s brand new book, Smithsonian’s 10-Minute Science Experiments. Learn about physics, chemistry and engineering! For children in grades K-5, without caregiver participation (independent).
Youth Chess Club with Mr. Dibble: 6-7 p.m. March 10, 17 and 24. Kids in grades K-5 can learn chess at Mr. Dibble’s Youth Chess Club. Participation is completely free, and is open to both beginner and experienced players. Grow your skills and compete at the Youth Chess Tournament on Saturday, March 28.

Time for Toddlers: 10-10:30 a.m. Thursdays through March 12. Stories, rhymes, finger plays, and songs. For children ages 18-36 months, with caregiver participation.
Nailed It!: 3:45-4:45 p.m. Thursdays through March 12. Inspired by the Netflix show of the same name, this program is for teens who want to re-create ingenious cupcake designs and learn some neat decorating techniques, too! For teens in grades 5 and up, without caregiver participation (independent) — space is limited.
Bucket Drumming: 6:30-7:30 p.m. Thursdays through March 12. Learn and explore sound and rhythm with bucket drumming and other (sometimes unexpected) percussion instruments. For children in grades K-5, with or without caregiver participation.
Pop-Up Library at Espacio: 2-4 p.m. March 12, 105 Congress St., Salem. Please join us on the second Thursday of every month for Pop-Up Library at Espacio. We’ll bring books, movies, and more. Stop by to say hi, check out some new materials, or register for a library card. Free and open to the public. No registration required.
Jammin’ with Jen: 10-10:30 a.m. Fridays through March 13. A sing-along program for children ages 2 and up, with caregiver participation.
Pop-Up Library at the Community Life Center: 10 a.m.-noon March 13 and 27, the Mayor Jean A. Levesque Community Life Center, 401 Bridge St., Salem. The Salem Public Library will be visiting the Community Life Center from 10 a.m. to noon. Please stop by to check out books, movies and more. Library card registration will also be available. Create It!: 4-4:45 p.m. Fridays through March 13. Send a straw rocket to explore new planets, design your royal outfit for a Polaroid photo shoot, build a dinosaur landscape and much more. Anything is possible when you bring your imagination to Create It! For children ages 3 and up, with caregiver participation.
