Early Childhood Fair to be held March 7
KINGSTON — South Shore Family Network will host its 21st annual Early Childhood Fair from 10 a.m. to noon March 7 at Kingston Elementary School, 150 Main St. Admission is free.
There will be crafts, activities and more for children ages 2 and older. Early childhood educators and community partners from all over the south shore will be on hand to share information and resources for families and young children. There will be a DJ playing children’s music, Big Ryan performing some of his “Tall Tales,” and many hands-on activity stations for the children will be provided by early education centers.
Plymouth Phil to present Sunday Afternoon Family Concert
PLYMOUTH — The Plymouth Philharmonic Orchestra will present a one-hour Sunday Afternoon Family Concert at 3 p.m. March 8 at Plymouth Memorial Hall, 83 Court St.

Community Pancake Breakfast is back
The griddles are warming up at First Church in Pembroke, 105 Center St., as the Community Pancake Breakfast continues from 8 to 10 a.m. Saturday, March 7 in the church Fellowship Hall. The breakfast features pancakes, sausage, juice and coffee. A Short Stack (2 pancakes & 2 sausages) is $3 and a Super Stack (4 pancakes & 4 sausages) is $5. Tickets available at the door.
Community Pancake Breakfasts are held on the first Saturday of the month from September through June.

Look Good, Feel Better Program
Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital-Plymouth Cancer Center will host a Look Good Feel Better program for women who are undergoing cancer treatment from 3 to 5 p.m. at the hospital, 275 Sandwich St., in the Breast Center Conference Room.
Attendees can choose from one of the following dates to attend: March 9, April 7, May 11 or June 9.
Offered through a national collaboration of the Look Good Feel Better Foundation and the Professional Beauty Association, Look Good Feel Better is dedicated to helping women with cancer cope with the appearance side effects of their treatment. Look Good Feel Better offers complimentary group, individual and online beauty sessions that include lessons on dealing with temporary hair loss and skin, complexion and nail changes due to cancer treatment. The two-hour group workshop is led by volunteer beauty experts who teach makeup application techniques and offer skin and nail care guidance. They also demonstrate how to manage hair loss using wigs, turbans, scarves and accessories and show a video featuring expert advice on styling during and after cancer treatment.

Spring Equinox Creative Day Retreat
DUXBURY — The Art Complex Museum has scheduled its first ever Spring Equinox Creative Day Retreat in which yoga, meditation, sacred sounds and mandala painting will be offered, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. March 21 at The Alden House Studio, 105 Alden St. Participants will learn how to invite more peace and creativity into their lives.
In the museum’s Phoenix Gallery, Marnie Bacon, longtime professional yoga instructor, will provide guidance to open the flow of creativity through yoga and meditation practice. Deb Ogden will accompany the session with the resonating sounds of Tibetan bowl playing for inspiration. Lunch will be provided by The Green Light Juice Bar and Café. A tour of the museum’s current exhibition will be offered. Local artist Sally Dean Mello will provide guidance through the spiritual process of painting a dot mandala in acrylic paint on rocks and canvases.

South Shore Folk Music Club to present Tall Richard, Joe Folan
