Kindergarten sign-ups

To register a child for kindergarten starting in September at the Eastham Elementary School, parents should go to the online registration portal at nausetschools.org, click on the admissions tab, and select Kindergarten Registration.

Complete the registration online prior to coming to the registration at the E.E.S. Office on Wednesday, March 11, from 4 to 6 p.m. and Thursday, March 12, 9 to 11 a.m. (no appointment necessary).

Children who turn 5 on or before Aug. 31 are eligible to join kindergarten.

Bring the following documents to the registration event:

Original birth certificate with raised seal (a copy will be made and the original given back);

Legal name change document, (if applicable);

Court Orders pertaining to custody (if applicable);

Proof of residence – (i.e., copy of a rental agreement/mortgage payment or property tax bill with dwelling listed).

Also, school health mandates require:

Proof of physical exam from your doctor's office within a year of entering the start date.

Documented lead screening from the doctor's office.

A list of required immunizations for school health records.

On the registration day, parents will meet with the school nurse, Karen LaBranche, and principal’s secretary Elise Varley to review each child's health forms and school entrance requirements. Also, parents should make sure their child's screening appointment is made. Kindergarten screening will be held on May 7 and 8.
