Highlights: D-S climbed back from a 14-point halftime deficit, but came up short against Norwood, 53-51, in the season opener on Dec. 31. Andrew Guillette led the way with 25 points. On Dec. 20, D-S picked up its first win with a 54-51 win over Millis. Luke Rinaldi scored a three-pointer with four seconds left to seal the win. On Dec. 21, D-S climbed back to .500 with a 67-51 win over St. Joseph's Prep. Evan Skeary led the way with 18 points, while Andrew Guillette scored 11 points.

On Dec. 27, D-S fell to Medfield, 48-45. Andrew Guillette scored 12 points to lead the Raiders. On Jan. 3, Medway beat D-S, 51-40.

On Jan. 7, Ashland beat D-S, 56-52, in overtime. On Jan. 10, Dedham beat D-S, 73-64. Kirby Ryan led the Raiders with 16 points. On Jan. 14, Norton beat D-S, 64-45. On Jan. 20, D-S turned back Bellingham, 68-42. Kirby Ryan led the Raiders with 12 points, while Jacob Brown, Ben Chittick and Ben Teich scored eight points each. On Jan. 24, D-S turned back Millis, 59-27. Luke Rinaldi led the way for the Raiders with 11 points.

On Jan. 27, D-S came back from several deficits, but fell short against Nipmuc, 78-72. On Jan. 28, Medway beat D-S, 47-42. On Jan. 31, D-S beat Holliston, 54-37. Evan Skeary led the Raiders with 11 points, followed by Luke Rinaldi and Ben Chittick with eight points each.

On Feb. 4, D-S beat Hopkinton, 67-50. Luke Rinaldi paced the Raiders with 16 points, while Kirby Ryan scored 14. On Feb. 7, Dedham edged D-S, 52-50. On Feb. 11, D-S fell to Norton, 59-52. On Feb 12, D-S beat Millbury, 56-48.

On Feb. 14, D-S wrapped up the season with a 63-54 win over Medfield.

On Jan. 8, Ashland edged D-S, 40-38. Hana Skeary led the Raiders with 12 points. On Jan. 14, D-S beat Norton, 65-54. Hana Skeary led the Raiders with 18 points, including 10-for-11 from the free-throw line. Olivia Collins added 12 points, while Sophie Fallon had 10. On Jan. 17, Westwood defeated D-S, 50.40. Olivia Collins led the way for the Raiders with 17 points. On Jan. 18, D-S rebounded with a 55-14 win over Bay State Charter School. Parker Kendall led the way with 10 points.

On Jan. 20, D-S edged Bellingham, 40-39. Freshman Hana Skeary sank a free throw with no time left to give the Raiders the win. On Jan. 24, Millis beat D-S, 49-36.

On Jan. 27, D-S beat Nipmuc, 52-38. Hana Skeary led the Raiders with 26 points, while Olivia Collins added 10. On Jan. 28, Medway beat D-S, 59-32. On Jan. 31, D-S beat Holliston, 53-47. Olivia Collins led the Raiders with 22 points, while Sophie Fallon added 13 points.

On Feb 1, D-S moved over the .500 mark with a 53-26 win over Salem Academy Charter. Olivia Collins led D-S with 15 points, while Parker Kendall added eight. On Feb. 4, Hopkinton beat D-S, 51-44. Olivia Collins led the Raiders with 15 points, followed by Hana Skeary with nine. On Feb. 7, Dedham beat D-S, 37-31. On Feb. 11, Norton defeated D-S, 64-57. On Feb. 13, Ursuline edged D-S, 45-38.

On Dec. 18, D-S was shut out by Holliston, 2-0. On Dec. 21, in the first round of the St. Joseph's Christmas Tournament, D-S beat Hopedale, 5-3. George Herlihy scored twice, and Ethan Blanchard made 26 saves in net for the Raiders, who lost to Holliston, 6-2, in the tournament finals on Dec. 23.

On Dec. 28, D-S fell to Peabody, 7-4. George Herlihy scored one of the Raiders' goals. On Jan. 4, D-S lost to Ashland, 7-1.

On Jan. 8, D-S defeated Northeast Regional, 4-1. Tommy Higgins, Billy Rooney, Cooper Griffin and George Herlihy scored the Raider goals. Ethan Blanchard solid in the net. On Jan. 11, D-S fell to Hopkinton, 8-1. On Jan. 15, D-S lost to Bellingham, 5-3. On Jan. 18, D-S/Weston fell to Weston, 5-2.

On Jan. 22, D/S Weston beat Norton, 4-2. Cooper Griffin scored twice for the Raiders. On Jan. 25, Dedham beat D-S/Weston, 5-2. Standish Carothers and George Herlihy scored for the Raiders. On Jan. 29, Norwood shut out D-S, 4-0.

On Feb. 5, D-S/Weston fell to Medfield, 8-0. On Feb. 12, D-S/Weston beat Bellingham, 7-4. On Feb. 15, D-S/Weston and Pembroke skated to a 3-3 tie.

On Feb. 17, D-S/Weston earned the Post Road Cup with a 6-2 win over Wayland. Cooper Griffin scored twice for the Raiders, while George Herlihy, Connor Burke, Tommy Higgins and Standish Carothers tallied one goal each. On Feb 19, D-S/Weston wrapped up the season with a 7-1 loss to Medway.

Kayley Merkle and Annabel Brady scored for the Raiders. On Dec. 21, Dedham beat D-S, 6-1. Kayley Merkle scored the Raiders' lone goal.

On Dec. 23, D-S/Hopkinton fell to Masconomet, 5-2. Liama Patrick and Annika Yanoshak accounted for the Raiders' goals. On Dec. 28, D-S held an early lead, but ended up losing to Ursuline, 5-2. Emily Swimaner and Julia McDonald scored for the Raiders. On Jan. 3, Norwell beat D-S, 6-1.

On Jan. 4, D-S/Hopkinton notched its first win of the season, 2-1, over Medway. Hailey Cox scored both goals, while goalie Kristin McCluskey and Julia MacDonald played well. On Jan. 8, D-S/Hopkinton and Norwood skated to a 2-2 tie. Freshmen Kelly Bailey and Abby Wayne scored for the Raiders. On Jan. 11, D-S/Hopkinton and Masconomet skated to a 1-1 tie. Freshman Sophie Mazzuchelli scored the Raiders' goal.

On Jan. 14, D-S/Hopkinton and Ursuline skated to a 2-2 tie. On Jan. 18, Cambridge R&L shut out D-S/Hopkinton, 3-0. On Jan. 23, D-S/Hopkinton was shut out by St. Peter-Marian, 4-0. On Jan. 25, St. Peter Marian handed D-S/Hopkinton a 5-2 loss, but the Raiders raised nearly $1,000 for ovarian cancer research.

On Jan. 29, Westwood shut out D-S, 3-0. On Feb. 8, Medway shut out D-S/Hopkinton, 3-0. On Feb. 12, Norwood beat D-S, 3-1. On Feb. 15, D-S/Hopkinton finished the season with a 3-0 loss to Dedham.

Indoor Track

Highlights: At the FAT State Indoor Relays at the Reggie Lewis Center on Dec. 14, Noah Guarini breaks the school record for the 2-mile. The 4x200 relay team also broke the school record.

In the dual meet season opener on Dec. 18, the Raiders split against Dedham. In the boys' 61-25 win, Aidan Britt broke the school record in the 300, while Tatum Evans took first in the 300 in the girls' 45-41 loss.

On Jan. 3, D-S earned a split against Norton. In the boys' 61-25 win, the Raiders swept the 55 meters, and took first and third in the mile. The girls lost, 65-21, but Tatum Evans took first in the 55 meters.

On Jan. 8, D-S swept Millis. For the boys, Ben Williams and Ryan Kane went 1-2 in the shot put, swept the 300 and broke the school record in the 4x400; in the girls' first win in two years, the Raiders swept the 55 dash and went 1-2 in the 600.

On Jan. 13, D-S swept Bellingham. For the boys, Aidan Britt and Sam Litle went 1-2 in the 300, while Will Brown and Chris Mutch finished 1-3 in the 600. Noah Guarini won the mile and 1,000.

At the MSTCA Relays on Jan. 18, the D-S boys captured first place overall, while the girls took fifth overall.

On Jan. 20, D-S wrapped up the dual meet season with a split against Medway. The boys clinched the TVL Small title with a 70-16 win over the Mustangs, while Medway beat D-S, 60-25.

Overall, the girls team finished in 12th, while the boys team finished second.

The following members of the track team will take part in the All-State Meet on Feb. 22 -- boys 4x200-meter relay (14th), boys 4x400-meter relay (23rd), boys 4x800-meter relay (16th).

Gymnastics (MADS)

Highlights: In the 101-59 win over Norton on Jan. 13, the boys and girls medley relay and freestyle relay teams qualified for States.

At the TVL Showcase meet on Feb. 2, the D-S girls finished third overall, as did the boys. The girls and boys combined came out in fourth place. The girls won the 200 freestyle relay, while Ava Yablonski set the TVL meet record in the 100 butterfly.

The following D-S swim team members took in the boys Sectionals on Feb. 9: boys - 200-yard medley relay (26th); Jack Green, 50-yard freestyle (23rd) and 100-yard breaststroke (20th); 200-yard freestyle relay (23rd).

The following D-S swim team members took part in the girls Sectionals on Feb. 8: 200-yard medley relay (eighth place); Irene Yang, 200-yard IM (seventh) and 100-yard backstroke (eighth); Ava Yablonski, 50-yard freestyle (first) and 100-meter butterfly (second); Katie Hennessy, 1-meter diving (16th); 200-yard freestyle relay (seventh). Team finish: 10th.

The following D-S swim team members took part in the Division 2 state meet on Feb. 15: girls -- 200-yard medley relay (fourth), Irene Yang, 200-yard IM (eighth) and 100-yard breaststroke (ninth), Ava Yablonski, 50-yard freestyle (first) and 100-yard backstroke (first), Katie Hennessey, 1-meter diving (25th).

Overall, the Raiders finished seventh.

The following D-S swim team members took part in the State meet Feb. 16: boys -- 200-yard medley relay (26th), Jack Green, 50-yard freestyle (30th) and 100-yard breaststroke (20th), 200-yard freestyle relay (28th).

Skiing

In the first two races of the season on Jan. 9, the D-S girls finished second overall, and boys finished fourth overall. In the boys' first race, Brendan O'Neill came in 13th overall, Jack Wirth finished 20th and Peter Green 21st. In the second race, Wirth finished 15th overall, followed by O'Neill in 22nd and Green in 26th. In the girls' first race, Emma Gonsalves came in seventh, followed by Addie Atwood in 11th and Lily Makkas in 18th. In the girls' second race, Gonsalves came in sixth, followed by Atwood in ninth and Eloisa Luczkow in 21st.

After the fifth and sixth races on Jan. 30, the Raider boys are fourth overall, while the Raider girls are second overall. In the boys' fifth race, Peter Green came in 10th overall, with Brendan O'Neill finishing 19th. In the boys' sixth race, Green came in ninth, while O'Neill came in 11th. In the girls' fifth race, Eloisa Luczkow finished fifth overall, while Addie Atwood came in seventh. In the girls' sixth race, Emma Gonsalves finished eighth, while Atwood finished ninth.

After the seventh and eighth races on Feb. 3, the D-S boys stand in fourth place overall, while the D-S girls are in second. In the boys' seventh race, Brendan O'Neill came in 10th overall, with Peter Green finishing 16th. In the boys' eighth race, Green came in 12th, with Jack Wirth finishing 28th. In the girls' seventh race, Emma Gonsalves came in fifth overall, while Addie Atwood finished 10th and Eloisa Luczkow came in 12th. In the girls' eighth race, Gonsalves finished fifth and Luczkow finished sixth.

In the boys' ninth race on Feb. 5, Peter Green came in ninth, while Brendan O'Neil finished 15th and Matt Arigo finished 23rd. In the 10th race, Green finished 14th, while O'Neill finished 16th and Arigo came in 31st. In the girls' ninth race, Eloisa Luczkow came in sixth, followed by Emma Gonsalves in eighth and Addie Atwood in ninth. In the girls' 10th race, Luczkow came in second overall, followed by Atwood in sixth and Gonsalves in seventh.

In the boys' 11th race on Feb. 10, Peter Green finished seventh, with Brendan O'Neill coming in 13th and Matt Arigo in 30th. In the 12th race, Green finished 10th, followed by O'Neill in 17th and Arigo in 25th. In the girls' 11th race, Eloisa Luczkow finished 12th, followed by Emma Gonsalves in 15th and Sarah Parrish in 19th. In the girls' 12th race, Gonsalves finished eighth, followed by Parrish in 11th and Luczkow in 21st.

The final meets, scheduled for Feb. 13, were canceled.

The D-S boys finished fourth overall, while the D-S girls finished second.

The following D-S team members took part in the MIAA state meet at Berkshire East in Charlemont on March 4: Peter Green (finished 53rd overall), Brendan O'Neil (did not finish), Emma Gonsalves (finished 44th overall), Eloisa Luczkow and Sarah Parrish (did not finish).

Nordic schedule Wednesdays (weather dependent)

In the first races on Jan. 8, Lucas Bodkins finished second overall for D-S, followed by Patrick Whitaker in seventh, Evan Fisch in 10th and Eli Gleason in 11th. For the girls, Mica Bodkins came in second overall, followed by Nicole Mayer in seventh and Calli Frankel in 10th.

In the second races on Jan. 22, Lucas Bodkins placed second overall for D-S, while Patrick Whitaker came in fifth and Evan Fisch finished 10th. As a team, the Raiders came in second. In the girls' race, Mica Bodkins came in second overall, followed by Nicole Mayer in sixth and Virginia Borths in 12th. As a team, the Raiders finished third overall.

In the third races on Jan. 29, Lucas took first place overall for the Raiders, followed by Patrick Whitaker in fifth and Eli Gleason in 10th. As a team, the boys came in second overall. For the girls, Mica Bodkins finished first overall, Nicole Mayer in fifth, Calli Frankel in ninth and Virginia Borths in 10th. As a team, the girls came in second overall.

In the fourth races on Feb. 5, Lucas Bodkins finished second overall, followed by Patrick Whitaker in fourth, Nolan Sawyer in 11th and Evan Fisch in 12th. As a team, the Raiders finished second overall. For the girls, Nicole Mayer came in ninth, Calli Frankel came in 11th, Virginia Borths in 16th and Corinne Forman in 20th. As a team, the Raiders came in third overall.

In the fifth races on Feb. 12, Lucas Bodkins came in second, as the boys team notched its first win of the season. Patrick Whitaker came in fifth, Nolan Sayer came in eighth and Eli Gleason finished 10th. For the girls, Mica Bodkins finished second, as the girls team came in third overall. Nicole Mayer came in seventh, while Calli Frankel finished in 11th.

At the MIAA state meet held Feb. 25 at Prospect Mountain, Woodford, Vt., Lucas Bodkins came in first overall; Patrick Whitaker came in 24th, Eli Gleason in 49th, Evan Fisch in 53rd, Nolan Sayer in 60th, Cole Hadar in 106th, Joey Murray in 115th and Leo Gnann in 116th. Overall, the Raider boys finished sixth. For the girls, Mica Bodkins finished second overall; Nicole Mayer came in 29th, Calli Frankel in 77th, Virginia Borths in 78th, Amy Stephen in 107th, Katrina Schultze in 111th, Amelia Haggerty in 116th and Sophia Natale in 119th. Overall, the girls finished 10th.
