The Lexington Music Club will host its annual public benefit concert at 8 p.m. March 14 at Follen Church, 755 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington.

The club was formed to provide opportunities for musicians to perform informally in house concerts, often as a prelude to a recital or other public performance and to support younger musicians in their studies, at Lexington High School. In addition to house concerts, the club presents a public concert once a year, with the proceeds from donations funding two scholarships for Lexington High School students who plan to continue their music studies in college.

There is a $20 suggested donation to support the scholarship fund.
