The Retired Men’s Club of Arlington is open to all men who are retirees (or soon to become) where members can play cards (bridge, whist and poker), pool, read books and enjoy daily free coffee, open every day, 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Monday through Friday. This nonprofit organization is made up of members from the local towns in the greater Boston area.

Doors open at 9:30 a.m. (free coffee). Meeting starts at 10 a.m. Potential new members are encouraged to attend.

March 11: Retired Men’s Club of Arlington will hold their first meeting of the month with speaker Vinny Brown Of Collette who will talk about “Nashville 2020.”

Trips

Foxwoods Casino day trip: March 19. $30 per person. Luxury Motor Coach leaves church parking lot at 7:30 a.m. You will receive $10 food and $10 Keno coupon. Return trip departs from casino at 6 p.m.

Ongoing events

Mondays, cribbage: Games start at 9:30 a.m. every Monday at St. Camillus’ lower church hall. Guests are invited to participate in the Cribbage Tournament at the RMCA. Women and nonmembers are welcome. Bring a friend. The cost is $8 per week, and guests will be eligible for a weekly cash prize. Join the tournament, which lasts 12 weeks, and participants could win up to $500 at the end of the tournament. Every player is guaranteed a cash prize. Free coffee and doughnuts. Fridays, bowling: The RMCA Bowling League meets every Friday at the Woburn Bowling Center, 32 Montvale Ave. Starting time is 9:25 a.m. This is an informal fun league where regular members (and new members) can join in for some exercise and friendship.
