Beverly Catholic Collaborative to host Lenten Mission

Beverly Catholic Collaborative will host a Lenten Mission with Fr. Bill Neubecker, an experienced spiritual director and retreat leader, at 7 p.m. March 23-25 at St. Mary Church, 251 Cabot St.

The subjects of Neubecker’s talks are as follows:


March 23: “Honoring Our Past: We Were Loved Adoration and Benediction”
March 24: “Growing Our Faith: With God’s Mercy Opportunity for Confession”
March 25: “Building Our Future: With God’s Care through Mary Celebration of the Eucharist”

Residents who are unable to attend the evening sessions can join the 9 a.m. Mass at St. John Church those mornings. His homilies will be based on the evening talks.

Atypical Yoga Studio to host Mat Pilates classes

Atypical Yoga Studio, 228R Cabot St., Beverly, will host Mat Pilates classes from 4:30 to 5:15 p.m.

Pilates is a mindful form of exercise. Instead of barreling through high-intensity exercises, with Pilates, the focus is executing each movement with intention and awareness. Learning the skill of mindfulness can have a significant impact on day-to-day life. Pilates also improves strength.
