NEW BEDFORD —The South Coast Chamber Music Series presents “Three’s a Crowd” on March 28 and 29 in Marion and South Dartmouth. The concert program is a demonstration of the trio power of violinist Ariadne Daskalakis, NBSO principal cellist Leo Eguchi, and pianist Janice Weber. Starting with Bach’s violin Chaconne and the C major cello suite, concertgoers will be enthralled by the awesome power of four strings in the right hands. The program then segues into two stunning force multipliers: Mendelssohn’s scintillating Trio in C Minor and Café Music by Paul Schoenfield, a work fusing ragtime, jazz, and klezmer into a literally unforgettable tour de force.

There will be two performances: Saturday, March 28, 4 p.m., at St. Gabriel’s Episcopal Church, 124 Front St., Marion, and Sunday, March 29, 4 p.m., at St. Peter’s Episcopal Church, 351 Elm St., South Dartmouth. Individual concert tickets are $20, available at the door or prepurchase online at nbsymphony.org/chamber-series-season/
