MILFORD - The 26th annual Family Fun & Disability Awareness Fair takes place from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday, March 14, in the Milford High School Cafeteria.
The event is co-hosted by the state Department of Developmental Services; the Kennedy-Donovan Family Support Center; the Milford Commission on Disability; and the Milford Family & Community Network. It features exhibitors who work with families from the prenatal stage through adolescence, including health care professionals, social services, community and educational programs, day care providers and small businesses.
Entertainment will be provided throughout the day. Exhibitors are encouraged to include child-friendly activities at their tables.
The Massachusetts Youth Child Identification Program will be provided by the Montgomery Lodge of Milford, Ancient Free Accepted Masons. MYCHIP is free to the public, with all identifying items generated during the event given to the child’s family.
The event will also feature a supervised obstacle course, providing fun for young athletes of all ages. A supervised bounce house will also be available. Attendees are also invited to bring their favorite stuffed friends or dolls for the teddy bear clinic.
