Concord voters followed the lead of the majority of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts in voting for former Vice President Joe Biden during the Democratic Primary on Super Tuesday.
Biden tallied 5,018 votes, or 35.6%. Sen. Elizabeth Warren came in second in Concord with 4,258 (30.2%), followed by Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders (2,168 or 15.4%) and former New York Mayor Michael Bloomberg (1,862 or 13.2%).
Statewide, with 88% of the precincts reporting, Biden took in 415,494 votes, or 33.5%. He was followed by Sanders (332,611, 26.8%) and Warren (266,568, 21.5%).
On the GOP side, President Donald Trump easily won Concord, taking in 940 votes, or 73.8%. Former Massachusetts Gov. Bill Weld earned 298 votes (23.4%).
Statewide, Trump garnered 139,705 votes or 86.8%.
