At 10:52 a.m. a Linwood Street caller reported receiving a call from a male who stated he was coming to his home to harm him because he claimed his phone number was calling his girlfriend's home. The caller denied contacting the girlfriend. The caller advised that he had two children in his home and was loading a shotgun for protection. Police told him to unload and secure the weapon prior to officers arriving

At 1:55 a.m. police received a call for a loud party on Central Street. The homeowner shut it down for the night.

At 2:06 a.m. a 911 caller reported a silver SUV was driving erratically on Main Street toward Saugus Center. An area check by police was negative.

At 2:19 a.m. a 911 caller reported an unwanted party on Rockwood Drive. The party left prior to police arrival.

At 9:51 a.m. a male reported he was kicked out of Salvation Army and not given his cell phone back. An officer advised the caller to return the next day to retrieve his phone.

At 11:12 a.m. a Waban Street resident reported both of his vehicles were keyed.

At 3:07 p.m. a caller reported a customer refused to leave the Burger King drive-through lane on Route 1 South and requested free food. The vehicle left prior to police arrival.
At 5:09 p.m. Savers loss prevention reported detaining a male and female shoplifter. The parties were trespassed from the store.

At 5:14 p.m. a 911 caller reported a motorcycle was struck by a vehicle on Route 1. An ambulance took a patient to Mass General Hospital.

At 5:24 p.m. an Elaine Avenue resident reported raw sewage was backing up into his basement. The DPW emergency man was notified.

At 6:58 p.m. State Police reported an erratic driver on Route 1 North by Oye’s.

At 7 p.m. a caller reported a male bothering customers at Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub. Officers were unable to locate the male.

At 7:09 p.m. a Newhall Avenue caller reported a male and female were banging on her door and ringing her doorbell. Officers reported the party was uncooperative.

At 7:17 p.m. a 911 caller reported a woman was sleeping in her car at Walgreens who appeared to be under the influence. Officers reported the woman was in good health and spirits.

At 7:37 p.m. an officer reported a toolbox with nails was dropped in the middle of Route 1 South by Walnut Street. Officers picked up the hazard.

At 7:59 p.m. a Cider Mill Road resident reported a contractor took her tools and didn’t return them.

At 8:02 p.m. Square One Mall security reported cars doing donuts in the parking lot. Officers reported the vehicles dispersed.

At 8:27 p.m. the manager of Buffalo Wild Wings reported a female wandering around the Dumpster. She claimed bikers were chasing her.

At 9:38 p.m. State Police reported a shooting on Oakland Avenue in Lynn and the suspects were two parties on bicycles with handguns in their possession. Officers searched the area for any suspects matching the description.
