Start Composting and Help NSC!
NSC is partnering with Black Earth Composting to encourage Natick residents to start composting. Our goal is to get 250 people to sign up so we can receive free composting for a year! Curbside composting is easy, sustainable, and will cut your trash (and need for blue bags) in half! We are so thankful for our amazing community! We could not do our good work without your support. Natick Service Council would like to mention and extend our gratitude to the following organizations and individuals this week:
• When Moms On a Mission heard we were low on diapers and wipes, they coordinated a drive with the sixth-grade team and their families for NSC. We are very grateful for their generosity.
• Natick High School Class of 1987 held a joint 50th birthday party/class reunion at the Natick Elks and donated the admission fee to NSC. They collected $350 and 70 pounds of food to Natick Service Council. This is a great way to see old friends, have fun and support the community!
• Thank you to Lovin’ Spoonfuls for their weekly deliveries that allow us to stock our pantry with non-perishable foods such as fresh fruits, vegetables and dairy.
Please note that our office hours are Monday-Thursday, 8 a.m.-5 p.m. and Friday 8 a.m.-12 p.m. Please call for our food pantry hours. Donations to the Vi Tutuny Hearth Healthy Food Pantry can be made anytime during our business hours. We are located at 2 Webster St., on the corner of Cottage Street and Webster Street. There is parking behind the building. For your convenience, there are also food collection bins at Roche Bros., Stop & Shop and the Community Center. Thank you for supporting our community!
