KATIE:
I’m Katie, and I guess you’d say I’m a bit particular. I’m a four-year old hound mix from down yonder, and I wish it wasn’t true that I have nipped on occasion, but I have. I’m not crazy about people walking by and reaching out to me. I’d have to be classified as shy and I’m more nervous than is really warranted. But I do get along fine with people when I think they love me back. Some like lots of car rides, but that’s not me. I like long walks and good fenced-in runs. I don’t like prolonged solitude, so someone had better be around the house most of the day. My preferred canine companions are usually older and mellow. It would be best if you were female or a quiet, gentle male. The people here have been great, but I’ve been living the institutional life way too long. Let’s join forces.

SNOWY:
Hope you’ve got a big bed if we’re going to share. I’m Snowy, I’m 6 and let’s just say I’m not what you `would call “petite.” Now, I really do dig you humans — I make friends practically on a daily basis — and I’ve got no problem with other pets if they give me my space when I ask. So what’s the catch? I’m FIV+. Can’t lie. But I think I’m worth the fuss.
