The Family Promise Metrowest sixth annual Keep the Promise food tasting and auction will be held at 6 p.m. Nov. 2 at the Sheraton Framingham Hotel & Conference Center, 1657 Worcester Road.

Guests can enjoy live entertainment and food and drink tastings from nearly 20 local restaurants including Burtons Grill, Common Street Café, Temazcal, Marconi’s, 110 Grill and Exhibit ‘A’ Brewing. The live and silent auctions will have something for everyone, including Patriots, Celtics and Red Sox tickets, brewery tours, fitness classes, vacation packages and gift cards.

“In 2018, we served a total of 34 local families in need thanks to the support of our surrounding communities,“ said Sue Crossley, executive director of FPM. “We hope you’ll join us at this year’s event to learn more about our programs and to meet some of our families and volunteers.”

In 2018, Keep the Promise raised $117,000 for its programs and another $118,000 for its capital campaign to pay for the new FPM Day Center in Natick. Money raised goes directly to programs that provide shelter, meals, and professional services to families so they can transition out of homelessness. FPM also funds a program to prevent evictions.

Tickets are on sale at www.KTP2019.givesmart.com. Those unable to attend can register to bid on silent auction items before and during the event.

This event is made possible by local sponsors, including presenting sponsor, Mutual One Bank and gold sponsors Wells Fargo, Needham Bank and Whole Foods. Those who would like to advertise a local business to nearly 500 attendees in the event program, contact Carole Brodrick at carole@familypromisemetrowest.org.
