The Bigelow Free Public Library, 54 Walnut St., Clinton, will host an Alfred Hitchcock Film Festival throughout October.

The festival will begin with a special murder mystery improv night at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 2. Agawam Paranormal will present Ghostology 101 at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 3. The festival will screen “Notorious” at 6 p.m. Oct. 4. The Friends of the Bigelow Library will provide refreshments for this kickoff event.

The movie schedule will include “Vertigo” at 3 p.m. Oct. 8, “North by Northwest” at 3 p.m. Oct. 15, “The 39 Steps” at 6 p.m. Oct. 17, “Rear Window” at 3 p.m. Oct. 22, “The Lady Vanishes” at 3 p.m. Oct. 25 and “Psycho” at 6 p.m. Oct. 30.

Frank Mandosa will present “Hitchcock and His Films” at 6:30 p.m. Oct. 9. The Friends of the Bigelow Library will raffle off Alfred Hitchcock movie posters and provide refreshments for some of the films.

The teen area will screen “Ghostbusters,” starring Bill Murray, at 6 p.m. Oct. 23.
