Thursday, Sept. 5

1:26 a.m.: A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Swifts Beach Road.

6:55 a.m.: An arrest was made at the Retreat at Union Pond on Gatehouse Drive.

8:01 a.m.: An unwanted guest was reported at the Retreat at Union Pond on Gatehouse Drive. One male party was transported to Tobey Hospital.

8:17 a.m.: A caller reported trespassing at Onset Water Department on Sand Pond Road.

8:31 a.m.: A caller reported a male neighbor in front of his house yelling and using profanities on Burgess Point Road. An officer spoke with the reporting party.

10 a.m.: A caller requested assistance with a colony of feral cats on Washburn Court. Advice was given.

11:19 a.m.: A caller requested a welfare check on a dog on Kimberly Court.

11:33 a.m.: Animal control followed up on a call regarding a past dog bite. A 10-day quarantine was served in hand to the dog owner.

12:42 p.m.: A loose pitbull was reported on Doherty Street.

1:30 p.m.: Animal control assisted with a welfare check on a dog on Sarahbeth Lane. Services were rendered.

2:15 p.m.: Animal control assisted with Wareham Housing with cats in a home on Briarwood Drive. Traps were left.

2:43 p.m.: A caller reported a suspicious male party on a skateboard yelling at vehicles. An officer spoke with the male party and he said he was waiting for the bus. The male was advised against the reported activity.

3:30 p.m.: A loose dog was reported at Marion Road and Swifts Beach Road. The dog was returned to its owner. A citation was issued.

6:17 p.m.: A reporting party said parties removed license plates from a motor vehicle and ran away on Main Street.

7:04 p.m.: A group of teens gathering were reported on Old Onset Road. The parties checked out OK and returned to their home.

9:53 p.m.: A caller reported someone throwing potatoes at his home on Wareham Avenue. Officers spoke to the reporting party who found the potatoes in his yard but did not see anyone throw them. There was no damage to the home.

10:37 p.m.: A suspicious motor vehicle was reported at Water Wizz on Cranberry Highway. The female party checked out OK and was moved along.

Friday, Sept. 6

12:46 a.m.: A male looking around the ATM lobby was reported at Eastern Bank on Cranberry Highway. The party was moved along.

4:43 a.m.: An officer was out with a suspicious male party sleeping behind the Jug Shop on Main Street. The male party checked out OK and was moved along.

5:14 a.m.: An arrest was made on Court Street.

6:04 a.m.: An arrest was made at Depot Street and Tyler Avenue.

6:04 a.m.: A SUV with a party possibly sleeping in the middle of the roadway was reported on Tower Terrace. One party was transported to Tobey Hospital.

10:23 a.m.: A caller reported a waste management truck leaving the area on Madeline Street. A caller reported two male parties were seen urinating in the street. An officer spoke with the operator and passenger. The male parties reported they thought they were in the woods and out of public view. An officer spoke with the reporting party.

10:36 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at 7-11 on Cranberry Highway. An officer assisted with a paper exchange.

12:07 p.m.: A suspicious male party was seen in the area of Lopes Playground on Onset Avenue. The area search was negative.

12:23 p.m.: A caller reported his neighbor throwing potatoes at his house on Wareham Avenue. An officer spoke with the involved people and advised them of their options.

12:56 p.m.: A caller reported an unwanted male guest videoing the bank at Citizens Bank on Cranberry Highway. The male party left prior to an officer’s arrival.

12:58 p.m.: A female party reported an ongoing neighbor dispute on Glen Charlie Road.

1:03 p.m.: A caller reported a male neighbor threatened her on 13th Street. An officer was unable to contact the male party that made the threats.

2:33 p.m.: A swan was struck by a motor vehicle on Route 25. The area search was negative.

4:18 p.m.: A three-car motor vehicle crash was reported at Fearing Hill and County roads.

5:17 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Speedway on Main Street.

5:44 p.m.: An arrest was made at Walmart on Tobey Road.

5:46 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported on Dunkin’ on Cranberry Highway. An officer retrieved an item and a report was made.

6:32 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Kool Kone Inc. on Marion Road.

7:05 p.m.: An employee reported a male party using a fake ID at Liquor Locker on Cranberry Highway. Officers investigated and the male party was issued a no-trespass order.

8:46 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash involving a tree was reported at Tobey Road and Main Street.

Saturday, Sept. 7

12:05 a.m.: An unwanted guest was reported at Shell Point Apartments on Longwood Avenue. An officer spoke to the male party who said the male party he had an issue with has left. The reporting party was advised of his options.

12:58 a.m.: A suspicious male party was reported at Pizza Boy on Cranberry Highway. The party was waiting for a ride and checked out OK.

12:59 a.m.: A hit-and-run motor vehicle crash was reported at Cumberland Farms on Depot Street. The area search was negative.

2:17 a.m.: A male party caught shoplifting was reported causing a disturbance at Cumberland Farms on Depot Street. An officer spoke to all parties and advised nothing was stolen. All parties moved along.

8:26 a.m.: A caller reported an open door on Park Avenue. An officer reported it was possibly caused by the wind and the door was secured.

8:31 a.m.: A caller stated a dog may possibly be abandoned inside a residence on Kimberly Court. The door was tagged for an owner to respond. The officer will continue to monitor.

9:02 a.m.: An ongoing barking dog complaint was reported on Barrett’s Way. An officer was in the area for 10 minutes and the dog did not bark.

11:32 a.m.: A caller reported an open door on Fearing Hill Road. An officer stated everything checked out OK. It was possibly caused by the wind.

11:45 a.m.: A loose dog was reported in the backyard on County Road. There was no answer at the door. No dogs were seen in the area.

11:49 a.m.: A caller reported a loose dog in their yard on Maki Way. The dog ran off prior to an officer’s arrival. The area search was negative.

12:39 p.m.: A caller reported a disturbance between three male parties at Bertino Street and Old Onset Road. The area search was negative.

1:34 p.m.: A caller reported parties knocking on the walls at Shell Point Apartments on Longwood Avenue. An officer spoke with a female party who said she would keep the juveniles quiet.

2:22 p.m.: An injured seagull was reported in the parking lot at Cardi’s Furniture and Mattress on Cranberry Highway. Many seagulls were in the parking lot but there was nothing out of the ordinary.

5:24 p.m.: An employee reported a male and female asking customers for rides at Wareham Liquors on Main Street. An officer spoke with the parties and they moved along.

6:10 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Glen Charlie Road and Route 25. Emergency medical services obtained two patient refusals.

6:41 p.m.: A female reported a disturbance between four parties on Merchant’s Way. The area search was negative.

9:24 p.m.: A disturbance was reported in the parking lot at Fan Club on Cranberry Highway.

Sunday, Sept. 8

1:44 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash with a tree was reported at County Road and Beach Street. One party was transported to Tobey Hospital.

1:59 a.m.: A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Maritime Drive. The area search was negative.

4:27 a.m.: A male party was reporting yelling racial slurs on Captain Collis Drive. An officer spoke to the reporting party and the male party fled the area on foot upon the officer’s arrival.

11:16 a.m.: An unwanted male guest was reported at the Glenn Cove Lane on Onset Avenue. The female party alleged the male party tried to lift her shirt in the past. The male party left prior to an officer’s arrival. The female party did not want any action about the past incident and was advised to seek a harassment prevention order at court.

12:35 p.m.: A caller reported a female party screaming at her children at Shell Point Apartments on Longwood Avenue. The caller believed the children were in an unsafe situation. The female party left prior to an officer’s arrival. The officer spoke with the reporting party and advised her of her options.

1:36 p.m.: A party found a loose dog on Charlotte Furnace Road. Officers attempted to locate owners.

3:35 p.m.: An erratic operator was reported in the Pinehurst Beach area. The area search was negative.

4:30 p.m.: A caller reported a male party on his property on Glen Charlie Road. An officer advised there is an ongoing neighbor dispute. The male party was taking photos and was advised to leave the property.

4:37 p.m.: A reporting party stated that parties were trespassing on the pond and when they were told to leave, they started harassing the reporting party. An officer reported no trespassing.

5:31 p.m.: An unwanted guest was reported at Waters Edge Trailer Court on Cranberry Highway. An officer requested emergency medical services for a female party. One female party was transported to Tobey Hospital.

5:41 p.m.: A party reported a dog on the beach. The area search was negative.

5:44 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Shaw’s on Marion Road. An officer investigated and reported no damage to vehicles.

6:27 p.m.: An unwanted guest was reported at Cumberland Farms on Depot Street. The female party checked out OK and was moved along.

9:53 p.m.: An arrest was made at Depot Street and Cranberry Highway.

10:57 p.m.: A male party was reported knocking on doors asking for a ride on Narrows Road. The male party was transported back to his residence.

Monday, Sept. 9

12:18 a.m.: A neighbor dispute was reported on Kristen Lane. Officers spoke with the reporting party who reported the male caused the disturbance prior to an officer’s arrival.

12:52 a.m.: An unwanted guest was reported refusing to leave at Tobey Hospital on High Street. Officers reported the male did not have a ride. The male party was transported to Cumberland Farms on Depot Street.

6:38 a.m.: A patient was reported causing a disturbance at Tobey Hospital on High Street. The female party left the area on foot and was located by the Narrows. The officer transported the female party to her residence.

8:25 a.m.: Two people were reported arguing in the parking lot at CVS Pharmacy on Main Street. There was a verbal argument over a parking spot. Peace was restored.

9:10 a.m.: A reporting party requested assistance with a snake on Emma Lane. The snake was moved along.

9:17 a.m.: The caller reported his motor vehicle was borrowed last night and was not returned. The motor vehicle was borrowed by a relative and was returned to him.

9:48 a.m.: An unwanted female guest was reported at Water’s Edge Trailer Court on Cranberry Highway. Emergency medical services transported a party to Tobey Hospital.

10 a.m.: A welfare check was requested for a cat on Joseph Street. Animal control reported a cat appeared to be fine.

10:33 a.m.: An arrest was made at Tobey Hospital on High Street.

12:12 p.m.: Larceny of money was reported at Shaw’s on Marion Road.

12:26 p.m.: A caller reported a possible intoxicated male party leaving in a vehicle at Marion Road and Briarwood Drive. The vehicle was stopped and the operator’s sobriety checked out OK.

12:37 p.m.: Animal control was out with a loose dog on Onset Avenue. The dog was loose on the owner’s property. Animal control was unable to contact the owner or secure the dog.

12:45 p.m.: A caller reposted a possible stolen quad in the back of a UHaul truck at 7-11 on Barker Road. An officer reported the quad was not stolen.

12:55 p.m.: Animal control checked the area of Pine Lake Drive for a reported loose dog. The area search was negative.

1:17 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported at Santoro’s Pizza on Depot Street. The report was unfounded.

1:21 p.m.: A pharmacist reported a confused male party acting abnormally walking out of Rite Aid Pharmacy on Marion Road. The male was located passed out in a vehicle parked in front of Wareham House of Pizza. The male party was transported to Tobey Hospital.

1:26 p.m.: Animal control checked the area for a reported loose pitbull. Animal control was unable to locate the dog.

2:19 p.m.: The store manager request to speak with an officer regarding a past shoplifter at Staples on Cranberry Highway. An officer reported the female party left in a vehicle not matching the description. The reporting party was advised to call back if the party returns.

2:30 p.m.: A welfare check was requested for a dog left in a vehicle at Stop and Shop on Cranberry Highway. Animal control reported the vehicle was gone upon arrival.

4:05 p.m.: An unwanted guest was reported on Kristen Lane. Officers spoke with the parties involved. Officers put one male party in protective custody.

4:25 p.m.: An intoxicated male party was reported at Liquor Locker on Cranberry Highway. An officer spoke with the male party who requested emergency medical services. A male party was transported to Tobey Hospital.

4:36 p.m.: An injured bird was reported at D’Angelo’s Sandwich Road on Cranberry Highway. Animal control checked the area with negative results.

4:57 p.m.: A female party reported her pocketbook was stolen at Shaw’s on Marion Road.

6:07 p.m.: A nurse requested to speak with an officer about suspicious activity at Wareham Healthcare on Indian Neck Road.

6:17 p.m.: A caller reported her mother’s license plate was stolen on Papermill Road. An officer state another family member may have removed the license plate. An officer has phone calls out to other family members.

6:54 p.m.: A large gathering was reported in the roadway causing a disturbance at Bertino Street and Old Onset Road. Officers spoke with a male party and reported no issues.

6:57 p.m.: Loss prevention detained a shoplifter at Walmart on Tobey Road. An officer reported a male party was issued a no-trespass order. The charges will be handled by Walmart.

9:26 p.m.: A caller reported parties being loud outside at Old Onset Road and Bertino Street. An officer advised it was quiet upon police arrival. The parties were advised of the complaint.

9:33 p.m.: A caller reported an unknown male party at her door asking questions on Marion Road. An officer spoke to the reporting party who stated the male left on a motor scooter prior to an officer’s arrival. The area search was negative.

9:34 p.m.: A caller reported a broken motor vehicle window on Glen Charlie Road. An officer spoke with the reporting party.

9:57 p.m.: A noise complaint was made on Parker Drive. The area search was negative.

10:13 p.m.: A caller reported occupants loading wood into a large box truck in the area of the golf course on Oakmont Drive. The area search was negative. All the wood appeared to be intact at the construction site.

Tuesday, Sept 10

4:38 a.m.: A caller reported a noise complaint at Gault Road and Cranberry Highway. Officers were advised that the noise was from a septic truck vacuum and was finished prior to their arrival. All was quiet.

7:56 a.m.: A caller reported the rear window of her motor vehicle was smashed on Warr Avenue.

8:49 a.m.: Animal control assisted the state with the removal of feral cats on Briarwood Drive.

9:05 a.m.: A reporting party reported a found injured bird on Onset Pier on Onset Avenue. Animal control retrieved the bird.

12:25 p.m.: An injured bird was reported on Circuit Avenue. Animal control checked the area and did not locate the bird.

1:49 p.m.: A welfare check was requested for two dogs inside a parked motor vehicle at the YMCA of Wareham on Charge Pond Road. Animal control reported the dog appeared to be fine.

1:49 p.m.: A possible report of abuse of a patient was reported at Tremont Nursing and Rehab Center on Main Street.

2:27 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported on Joseph Street. Emergency medical services cleared the scene with a patient refusal.

3:22 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported on Main Avenue.

4:17 p.m.: Animal control investigated an ongoing barking dog complaint on Barrett’s Way. Animal control observed two dogs outside and two inside the house barking for 20 minutes. A citation was issued to the dog owner.

4:52 p.m.: A barking dog was reported on Kimberly Court. Animal control issued a verbal warning to the dog owner.

5:29 p.m.: Two intoxicated males were reported at Commitment Living on Main Street. Two male parties were put in protective custody.

5:40 p.m.: Vandalism to a motor vehicle was reported at Wareham Free Library on Marion Road.

5:42 p.m.: A caller reported two suspicious parties at Verilife on Main Street. Both left prior to an officer’s arrival. The area search was negative.

6:03 p.m.: A barking dog was reported on a boat at Point Independence Yacht Club on Independence Lane. The dog was not in distress and had food and water. An officer made contact with an owner who will be returning soon.

6:11 p.m.: A caller reported a neighbor causing a problem on Tenth Avenue. An officer spoke with both parties and peace was restored.

7:09 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at the Wareham EMS Building on Sandwich Road.

8:24 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at New England Farms on Cranberry Highway. An officer spoke with a male party and female party and peace was restored. It was not a domestic incident.

9:27 p.m.: A caller reported a neighbor running a loud generator on Cranberry Highway. An officer spoke with a male party who shut the generator off.

9:39 p.m.: An unwanted male guest was reported at Steven’s Lounge on Onset Avenue. One male party was placed in protective custody.

11:33 p.m.: A hit-and-run motor vehicle crash was reported on Bertino Street.

Wednesday, Sept. 11

10:47 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Rockland Trust Company on Cranberry Highway. A motor vehicle struck an ATM. An officer assisted with an information exchange.

11:02 a.m.: A loose dog was reported on the beach at the Onset Boat Ramp on East Boulevard. The owner was advised of by-laws.

1:52 p.m.: A male party was reported yelling obscenities outside on Main Street. Officers spoke to the male party who was singing. There was not a disturbance.

2:24 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported on Wareham Avenue. A caller reported hearing items smashing. Officers spoke to the homeowner and stated there was no problem.

2:45 p.m.: Past threats by a neighbor were reported on Main Street. A male party and female party were transported to Wareham District Court.

3:34 p.m.: A customer causing a problem was reported at Wreckless Hobbies on Cranberry Highway. The male party left prior to an officer’s arrival.

4:06 p.m.: A hit-and-run motor vehicle crash was reported on Avenue A. Officers were unable to locate the RV involved. The reporting party was spoken to and advised.

4:15 p.m.: A caller reported her neighbor was playing music very loudly on Saltworks Road. An officer spoke with the male party. The music was turned down. Peace was restored.

5:01 p.m.: A disturbance was reported on Charge Pond Road. The area search was negative.

5:02 p.m.: A cat confined in a motor vehicle was reported at Wines and More on Cranberry Highway. The windows were down and the cat had food and water. It was not in distress.

7:05 p.m.: A dog laying in the roadway was reported on Crooked River Road. The owner had the dog and handled it.

7:32 p.m.: A caller reported two youths dressed in black carrying spray paint cans at South Wareham Bridge on Main Street. The area search was negative.

10:41 p.m.: A neighbor dispute was reported on Gitchee Gumee Road. Both parties were spoken to and advised of their options.

11:18 p.m.: A male party walking in the roadway at Liquor Locker on Cranberry Highway. An officer located the male party and his sobriety checked out OK. He was moved along.

Thursday, Sept. 12

3:05 a.m.: A caller reported a male party banging on the door of a residence and trying to gain access on Fall Street. An arrest was made.

9:52 a.m.: A caller reported a house trailer on fire on Timber Lane. Multiple calls were received reporting an active fire in the residence. A neighbor reported no was inside except cats. Animal control was notified. The fire was extinguished by the fire department.

10:27 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported on Route 25.

11:03 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Main and Chapel streets. An officer reported there were no injuries and very minor damage. There was a paper exchange.

1 p.m.: A loose dog was reported on Depot Street. The area search was negative.

2:34 p.m.: A possible injured loose dog was reported on Locust Street. Animal control checked the area and did not locate any dogs.

3 p.m.: Animal control checked the area of Barrett’s Way to check on an ongoing barking dog complaint. Animal control reported all was quiet.

3:33 p.m.: A male party was reported sitting on the corner of the road with a bandana covering his face and what appeared to be a firearm at McKinley Street and Briarwood Drive. A male party called reporting his son was outside playing.

4:43 p.m.: A caller reporting an intoxicated male party at American Pizza and Grill on Cranberry Highway. An arrest was made.

5:28 p.m.: A caller reported her boyfriend was an unwanted guest at her apartment at Brandy Hill Apartments on State Street but has since left since she called. An officer spoke with the female party and advised her of her options if the male party returns.

6:09 p.m.: A caller reported a larceny of copper on Siesta Drive.

7:22 p.m.: An arrest was made at a Bank of America ATM on Cranberry Highway.

7:41 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Cosi on Cranberry Highway.

7:52 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Cumberland Farms on Depot Street.

7:52 p.m.: A caller reported a past shoplifter at Walmart on Tobey Road. The male party fled the property and was not identified. Walmart will call back if they can identify the male on the video.

9:36 p.m.: A fireworks complaint was made at Christine’s Hair Salon on Main Street. The area search was negative.

Friday, Sept. 13

12:50 a.m.: An arrest was made at Best Friends Learning Center on Sandwich Road.

1:04 a.m.: The front door was reported to be open at J and R Towing on Tow Road. Officers checked the area and it appeared to have been an oversight. A message was left with a business owner.

9 a.m.: A female party reported being harassed by a neighbor on Tenth Avenue. The male party was advised to stay away from the reporting party as she was seeking a harassment order against him.

9:11 a.m.: A caller reported a suspicious male party sitting in a white van parked in the Shaw’s parking lot on Marion Road. An officer reported there was no white van in the lot upon his arrival.

11:42 a.m.: A minor motor vehicle crash was reported at Dollar Tree on Cranberry Highway. An officer reported there was only minor damage. There was a paper exchange.

11:53 a.m.: A suspicious female party was reported walking on the side of Route 195. The area search was negative.

12:32 p.m.: A caller reported people in the area that appeared to be suspicious on Charge Pond Road. The area search was negative.

1:44 p.m.: A caller reported her apartment was broken into on North Water Street. An officer spoke with the reporting party.

2:02 p.m.: A caller reported a verbal disturbance over clearing of conservation land on Mayflower Avenue. An officer reported there was no disturbance and no conservation land was involved. The reporting party was advised.

3:11 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Wareham Town Hall on Marion Road.

4:35 p.m.: A walk-in party reported threats on Avenue A.

7:17 p.m.: A female party causing a disturbance in the parking lot at Shell Point Apartments on Longwood Avenue.

7:40 p.m.: A caller reported a disturbance at the neighboring residence and a pit fire that was out of control on Leisure Lane. Officers reported there was no fire or disturbance.

8:07 p.m.: A male party was reported on the ground yelling on Mayflower Lane. An officer spoke with the parties involved and reported no issues.

10:16 p.m.: A neighbor dispute between two individuals was reported on Wareham Avenue. Officers reported everything was quiet upon arrival.

11:22 p.m.: An arrest was made at Swifts Beach and Marion roads.

Saturday, Sept. 14

9:44 a.m.: A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Twelfth Street.

10:40 a.m.: A caller stated being harassed by a neighbor on Burgess Point Road.

10:42 a.m.: An unattended death was reported on Willard Street.

10:56 a.m.: A suspicious motor vehicle was reported on Cranberry Highway.

11:07 a.m.: A caller requested to speak with an officer about people living in tents at Morgan’s Trailer Park on Claudia Street. An officer spoke with the reporting party and advice was given.

11:42 a.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Cape and Islands Tire on Cranberry Highway. The party left the property before an officer arrived. An officer assisted with the paper exchange.

12:01 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Anytime Fitness on Cranberry Highway.

1:48 p.m.: A motor vehicle crash was reported at Tihonet Road and Cranberry Highway. An officer assisted with the paper exchange.

3:41 p.m.: Suspicious activity was reported on Eleventh Street.

5:23 p.m.: A noise complaint was reported on Short Neck Road. The area search was negative.

6:06 p.m.: A group of juveniles was reported in the parking lot at Onset Fire Department on East Central Avenue. An officer reported juveniles left prior to an officer’s arrival.

6:41 p.m.: An arrest was made at Walmart on Tobey Road.

8:22 p.m.: A fireworks complaint was made at Majestic Housing on Main Street. The area search was negative.

9:06 p.m.: A hit-and-run motor vehicle crash was reported at Meadowlark Drive and Cranberry Highway.

9:25 p.m.: A disturbance was reported at CVS Pharmacy on Main Street. Officers spoke with two parties and stated there was no problem. Everything checked out OK.
