“The Women of Lockerbie,” written by Deborah Brevoort and directed by Jennifer Palmer, will open Oct. 18 at the Marion Art Center, 80 Pleasant St.

Set in 1995, the play tells the story of a mother from New Jersey who travels to Lockerbie, Scotland, looking for her son’s remains that were lost in the crash of Pan Am 103. She meets the women of Lockerbie, a group fighting to obtain the clothing of the victims from the crash.

The cast features Kate Fishman, Jessica Harris, Susan Massey, Frank Mitchell, Linda Monchik,

Margo Ruggiero and Jacob Sherburne.

Show dates are Oct. 18-20 and Oct. 24-27. Thursday, Friday and Saturday performances will begin at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday matinees are scheduled at 2 p.m.

Tickets will go on sale to MAC members on Sept. 27 for $18 and to nonmembers on Oct. 4 for $20.
