The schedule is as follows:
Gary Hylander lecture on King Philip’s War: 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 1. Part one of a three-part series, “Native American Battles.”
Drop-In Scrabble: 1 to 3:30 p.m. Wednesdays.
Fuller Craft Museum Presentation: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 3.
Cookbook Club: 6 to 8 p.m. Oct. 8. Attendees should pick a recipe from the selected cookbook at the circulation desk and take it to the event. Registration required as space is limited.
Film Icons of the 21st Century, with Frank Mandosa: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 10. Part one of three, “Jamie Lee Curtis: Scream Queen, Children’s Author, Fighter.”
Halloween Cardmaking with Christine: 10 a.m. to noon Oct. 12. Registration required as space is limited.
Movie Night: 6:15 to 8:15 p.m. Oct. 17. “‘The Finest Hours,” starring Chris Pine and Casey Affleck. Based on the book by author Michael Tougias, who will appear at the library on Oct. 24.
Massachusetts Author Michael Tougias: 7 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 24. Tougias will talk about his book, “The Finest Hours: The True Story of the U.S. Coast Guard’s Most Daring Sea Rescue.” The book was made into a film of the same name.
Stoughton Author Paul Tremblay: 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Oct. 30. Tremblay will read from his new horror collection, “Growing Things and Other Stories.” Signed books will be made available for purchase.
