Right-of Way and Driveway Permits: All construction work within the town right-of-way (including driveways) requires a permit and must be completed typically between April 1 and Nov. 15.

Recycling/Trash/Yard Waste (318-3240)

-- The Compost Site and Paint Shed are open for the season, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays and 3 to 6 p.m. Wednesdays. Free resident access stickers will be provided to residents who provide proof of residency at the Compost Site. Curbside subscribers can call for a free pass to attend the Minuteman Hazardous Waste Collection Site. Contact the DPW for information about the town’s curbside trash and recycling program.

Water and Sewer (318-3250)

-- The 2018 Annual Water Quality Report is now available online. This report contains information about the source and quality of residents’ drinking water. To view or print this year’s report, visit concordma.gov/wqreport.pdf.

-- All drain-layers working in Concord must be licensed. Drain-layer orientations are conducted at 7:30 a.m. on the second Thursday of every month; registration is required. Contact Water and Sewer for additional information and to register.

-- Town bylaws require in-ground irrigation systems to be registered and that all new irrigation systems are assessed a one-time connection fee. For information, visit concordma.gov/irrigation.
