Huixian Liu of Boston was indicted for manslaughter in the July death of her husband.

DEDHAM − A Norfolk County Grand Jury on Thursday indicted a Boston woman in the stabbing death of her husband, Norfolk County District Attorney Michael Morrissey said.

Huixian Liu, 47, of 67 West Newton Street, Boston is charged with manslaughter in the death of her husband Biqiang He, 55, on July 4th.  She plead not guilty to charges in the case back in July in Quincy District Court and has been held without bail since then.

Morrissey said the indictment moves the case to superior court.  Liu is expected to be arraigned at 2 p.m. Oct. 3 in Norfolk Superior Court in Dedham.

"The grant jury was presented with the evidence developed by Quincy and Massachusetts State Police detectives investigating the incident and (Thursday) returned an indictment for manslaughter," he said in a statement.

Shortly before 7 p.m. July 4th, Quincy Police were called to the area of 10 South Central Ave. on a report of a stabbing.  He was transported from the scene to Quincy Medical Center and later transferred to Boston Medical Center.  He underwent surgery, but passed away three days later, the district attorney's office said.
