WAREHAM - The Wareham Free Library has announced its technology programming for the month of October.
Four basic computer skills classes will be held at 1 p.m. on Tuesdays, starting with instruction on using a mouse and keyboard on Oct. 8. Sessions will follow on how to operate search engines (Oct. 15), using an e-mail account (Oct. 22), and how to be safe while on the web (Oct. 29).
The library also offers intermediate computer classes on Thursdays in October at 1:30 p.m. Students will be instructed in how to use Microsoft Word on Oct. 10, Microsoft Excel on Oct. 17, and how to organize files and folders on Oct. 24.
Additionally, two stand-alone sessions on how to use Ancestry Library Edition will be held on Wednesday, Oct. 9, and Wednesday, Oct. 23. Both classes will start at 1 p.m.
Spaces are limited and registration is required. Laptops will be provided by the library.
