Better Balance Tuesdays: 9-10 a.m. Tuesdays. Cost: $20, five weeks; $5, drop-in. Balance drills and strengthening exercises will be combined with brain games to help improve balance and engage intellect.

Candlepin Bowling: 1:30 p.m. Mondays, Woburn Bowladrome, 31 Montvale Ave. Candlepin Bowling is a non-league bowling group that welcomes all seniors who want to join in on the fun. Come whenever you want without the obligation of having to commit to a specific amount of time or financial burden. It is all about getting together with old friends, making new friends, having fun and keeping it light. Whether players are skilled, a beginner or a middle of the road bowler, all are welcome. Medication disposal: Have expired or unused medication? Call the center 10 a.m.-noon Mondays to arrange transportation to the Stoneham Police Station to dispose of it safely.

Caregiver support group: 10 a.m., last Thursdays of every month. The center will provide education and support services for people caring for loved ones with Alzheimer’s or related dementia with Kathy Learned of MVES.
