The Massachusetts Horticultural Society will host a six-week course on how the 25,000-year-old science of agriculture has influenced civilization Sept. 24 through Oct. 29.

Senior Horticulturist Hannah Traggis will teach the class.

The program runs from 6 to 8:30 p.m. each Tuesday evening for six weeks. The cost of the program is $150 for Massachusetts Horticultural Society members and $200 for nonmembers.
