On Saturday morning, June 8, at approximately 1:50 a.m., Beverly Police, along with Beverly Fire and medics from Northeast Ambulance service responded to the area of LP Henderson Road following reports of a motor vehicle into the woods.

Arriving officers found a single motor vehicle on its roof. Its operator had been ejected and found a distance away from the vehicle. Emergency medical personnel immediately began working on the male operator and transported him to Beverly Hospital with serious injuries.

The operator, identified as Gregory Rebidue 59, of West Newbury, succumbed to his injuries at Lahey Hospital in Burlington.

Members of the Massachusetts State Police Accident Reconstruction Team responded, and assisted with the investigation.
