Sharon Concert Band and Roy Scott Big Band will present “Pops at the Pearl,” a pops-style concert on June 23 at Lake Pearl in Wrentham. The performance will feature well-known symphonic and jazz compositions.

Sharon Concert Band will play “Comedians Gallop” by Dmitri Kabalevsky and “Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets” by John Williams. The Roy Scott Big Band set list will include jazz compositions such as “Birdland” by Weather Report and “I Got Rhythm” by George Gershwin. Vocalist Ruth Debrot will join Roy Scott Big Band on several numbers including “It’s Only a Paper Moon” by Arlen/Harburg/Rose.

“Pops at the Pearl” will be held at 1 p.m. June 23 at Lake Pearl, 299 Creek St., Wrentham. Advance tickets are available through the bands’ website. Cost: $15; free for children 10 and younger. Tickets for an optional, buffet brunch and concert are $35 each and $14 for children 10 and younger; brunch will be available starting at noon.
