Marshfield FACTS has partnered with Marshfield Community Television to show the documentary “Opioid Abuse on the South Shore” at 6:30 p.m. June 25 at the Ventress Memorial Library, 15 Library Plaza.

The 30-minute film will be followed by a panel discussion with Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz, Marshfield Police Chief Phillip Tavares, Marshfield Fire Chief William Hocking, Marshfield Selectman Michael Bradley, Joseph Shrand and filmmaker Desmond O’Neill.

O’Neill spent months interviewing individuals working to combat the opioid crisis and has produced a podcast of those interviews along with the video.

Marshfield FACTS will show “Opioid Abuse on the South Shore,” which will be followed by a 30-45-minute discussion. The event is free and open to the public.
