Join other supporters of Amesbury for Africa for a community fundraiser at Flatbread Pizza. The Flatbread company will give $3.75 to Amesbury for Africa for each pizza sold. Eat in or take-out. Amesbury Middle School students will present their project to publish African Storybooks in Kinyore to read to kids in the village. Pizza sales and a 50/50 raffle will raise the $450 needed to make this project a reality.
4 GEORGETOWN RUN/WALK CLUB: 6:30 p.m. June 18, Lola’s Mex Cocina, 20-2 Middle St., Georgetown; June 19, Flatbread Georgetown, 258 Andover St. The Georgetown Run/Walk Club hosts a free weekly social and fun run/walk, with 2-mile and 5K options, on paved and dirt uneven surfaces and unclosed roads in Georgetown. Meets rain or shine every Tuesday and Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. If severe thunder, participants will still meet to socialize. All ages, paces and levels of experience are welcomed.
