MENDON — Clarke Schools for Hearing and Speech will host its third annual Listening Walk at the Zoo from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. June 15 at Southwick’s Zoo, 2 Southwick St.

Designed to be fun and educational for all children and to draw public attention to the fact that children who are deaf or hard of hearing can listen and talk, the event is part scavenger hunt and part listening exploration.

More than 700 children who are deaf or hard of hearing who are learning to listen and talk at Clarke’s Boston and Northampton campuses and their families and friends, along with children and families from the wider community.
