Arlington High School is seeking host families for international students visiting in the fall.

This is the school’s 10th year running this exchange program. In that time, there have been students from a variety of countries including Italy, Colombia, China, Brazil, Spain, Thailand, Indonesia and Germany.

Planning for fall 2019 is already underway. The program has families who have hosted in the past returning, but new families are also sought. In an effort to attract great families, the AHS exchange program is working with Educatius International, which encourages all families to apply to become a host family — families with young children, no children, and/or high school age children.

To ensure that this initiative is a success, Educatius is providing the following resources:

• Monthly stipend of $800 to $1,600 per month paid out to all host families.

• An orientation program for the international students and host families.

• Host family and student support, available 24 hours a day.
