The Men’s Health League and the Men of Color Task Force will host the 26th annual Hoops ‘N’ Health sports tournament and health fair. In addition to the basketball tournament, attendees can connect with community resources, get a free health screening — including a stress test — enjoy a free, healthy lunch, live music, gaga ball and other activities for kids. Registration remains open until teams are filled. Registration not needed to attend the health fair. The rain date is June 22.

The Delvena Theatre Company will present a live performance of “Meet Julia Child!” The audience will learn more about Child and have the opportunity to view her on the set of “The French Chef.” The production will feature Lynne Moulton and Fran Baron. A light supper will be served after the production.

Forestdale Park’s Alzheimer’s Caregiver Support Group is sponsored and hosted by Compass Memory Support Neighborhood. This group meets the last Thursday of each month, with occasional special guest speakers and programs. The group is open to the public.

Free Evening Meal: 5:30-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays through Fridays. Bread of Life provides a free meal program that serves meals at First Baptist Church, 493 Main St., Malden. The meals are open to anyone in need, including working people, senior citizens, families with children, unemployed, disabled or homeless. No reservation is require. Diners do not need to live in Malden. For people who are in need of groceries, Bread of Life also operates a food pantry twice per week at 54 Eastern Ave., Malden. For information, call 781-397-0404.
