CHESS SATURDAYS: 2 p.m. June 15 and 29. Led by the library’s assistant director Aileen Sanchez-Himes, join attendees as they practice their chess skills and learn new strategies playing against others. Aimed at players 12 and older.
BALLROOM DANCING: 7 p.m. June 19 and 26. Participants can learn ballroom dancing at the library. These programs provided with funding from the Southborough Cultural Arts Council, a division of the Mass Cultural Council.
FAMILY PUZZLE CLUB: 11 a.m. June 21. Participants can discover the world of British made Wentworth wooden jigsaw puzzles: premium quality craftsmanship, a wide range of sizes and images, challenging designs, unique shapes and whimsy puzzle pieces. Program is sponsored by The Friends of the Southborough Library.
POETRY WORKSHOPS: 7 p.m. June 25. At each Tuesday session, everyone is asked to bring in five copies of their original poetry and distribute them to the group. The group is interested in insights.
BBC SERIES DISCUSSION: 7 p.m. June 27. “Downton Abbey,” “Victoria,” “The Crown,” “Call The Midwife,” “Foyle’s War.” Participants can join for exciting discussions of these series that have gripped the attention of an international audiences.
