At 10:44 a.m. an officer reported receiving information that a male was wandering around Central Street and might have something that resembles a firearm in his waistband. Officers arrested a male on charges of operating a motor vehicle with a suspended license, carrying a dangerous weapon (spiked kubaton), carrying a dangerous weapon (leather kubaton) and carrying a dangerous weapon (spring-assisted folding knife).

At 1:23 a.m. Square One Mall security reported approximately 15 people under the parking deck who refused to leave. Officers reported the gathering was dispersed.

At 2:25 a.m. a caller reported a suspicious vehicle on Summer Drive. The vehicle was towed for revoked insurance.

At 7:17 a.m. a 911 caller reported a female yelling and screaming and trying to get into a house on Sussex Street possibly using a brick.

At 8:39 a.m. Melrose Police reported a water main break on Lynn Fells Parkway. The DPW was notified.

At 11:56 a.m. the manager of North Shore Bank reported vandalism to the back windows of the bank.

At 12:02 p.m. police received a call for a male in the fetal position in a park at Golden Hills Road. Officers reported the male is homeless and he was trespassed from the park.

At 2:30 p.m. Kohl’s loss prevention reported a female shoplifter left with an unknown amount of merchandise.

At 3:05 p.m. a caller reported two men fighting in the area of Birch Street and Stone Street. Police spoke with two males who admitted to a verbal argument and had no desire to file complaints.

At 3:20 p.m. a caller reported a raccoon at the Lynnhurst Elementary School playground. The animal control officer was dispatched.

At 3:31 p.m. a caller reported a man causing a disturbance in the area of Sweetwater Street and Claremont Road. Officers spoke with a male who moved on.

At 5:05 p.m. a caller reported a two-vehicle accident at the intersection of Lincoln Avenue and Central Street. An ambulance transported a patient to the hospital.

At 5:42 p.m. a Winter Street resident reported three of his vehicles were broken into on June 4.
