The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra will present the Masterworks concert “Dancing with Demons” at 8 p.m. June 15 at Kresge Auditorium at MIT, 48 Massachusetts Ave., Cambridge.
Medford residents Heather Classen, Ryan Roelke, David Vickers, Adam Fouse and Casey Golomski will perform as part of the orchestra. Music Director Cynthia Woods will conduct.
The Cambridge Symphony Orchestra will offer its first performance of the symphonic poem “The Oak” by Florence Price, an early 20th-century African-American composer.
Max Levinson, a member of the piano faculty at both Boston Conservatory and the New England Conservatory, will join the CSO for Rachmaninoff’s “Rhapsody on a Theme of Paganini.”
The concert will conclude with Berlioz’s 1830 “Symphonie fantastique.”
