The Saugus High School boys’ hockey program won its second Division 2 state championship in 2004, and among the players on that squad were Eric Quinlan, Brian Hartigan and Matt Serino, and they were honored along with seven other distinguished alumni, plus the 1999 state championship hockey club during Friday night’s 25th annual Saugus High School Athletic Hall of Fame Induction banquet at the Elks Club on Main Street.

During this video with Hartigan and Quinlan, their coach and Eric’s dad, Jim, made a cameo appearance proclaiming straight from the heart that "they are my two best defensemen ever."

Cassandra and Kelsey Anderson (2007), Steve Capozzi (1980), Steve Gould (1998), Jennifer Salas (2001), Sabrina Cataldo Serino (2005) and Shawn Sullivan (2001) were the other individual inductees from the 2018 class.
