Blue Cross Blue Shield to host Medicare seminar
Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts will host a free Medicare seminar from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Oct. 16 at DoubleTree by Hilton, 11 Beaver St., Milford. Participants can join for a Medicare seminar to learn more about their 2019 options including: health, dental and prescription drug insurance plans. There is no cost for the seminar. Histogenics Corporation announces public offering
The Waltham-based Histogenics Corporation recently announced the closing of its previously announced underwritten public offering of 26,155,000 shares of its common stock and warrants to purchase up to 19,616,250 shares of common stock, at a combined purchase price of $0.65 per share of common stock and accompanying warrant. The net proceeds to Histogenics from this offering are approximately $15.4 million, after deducting underwriting discounts and commissions and estimated offering expenses payable by Histogenics. Canaccord Genuity and BTIG acted as the joint book-running managers for the offering. H.C. Wainwright & Co. acted as the co-manager for the offering. CIM Securities acted as a financial advisor to Histogenics in connection with the offering. Becker College offers Esports scholarships
Following the launch of a first-in-the-nation Esports management degree in June, Becker College has announced the availability of Esports management academic scholarships for the inaugural 2019 Esports management class. This is the first program in the U.S. to offer scholarships for this type of program. Becker’s Esports Management major — offered through the college’s School of Design and Technology — will equip students with the knowledge and experience needed to excel in one of the fastest-growing sectors in the sports and entertainment industries.
