Adult & Family Programs

Chi Gong

Every Monday from 5:30-6:30 p.m.

Chi Gong is a practice of aligning breath, movement, and awareness for exercise, healing and meditation.

Oodles of Doodles

Every second and fourth Tuesday of the month from 1:30-3 p.m.

Join us for some art therapy at this adult coloring session. Supplies and space provided.

Conversational French

Every second and fourth Wednesday of the month from 3-4 p.m.

Meet with friends and library staff to practice conversing in this great language.

Author Talk: Henry Faulkner

Wednesday, May 23, from 7:30-8:30 p.m.

Local author Henry Faulkner will be at the library to talk about his books, “Sprouting Wings” and “Slow But Deadly.”

Super Awesome Fun Time

Mondays from 4-5 p.m.

A super, awesome, fun time for kids ages 10 months to 6 years with stories, songs, activities and crafts.

Building Zone

Every Tuesday from 4-5 p.m.

Design and build imaginative structures using Lego, Duplo, giant bricks, and Keva building planks. No registration. We’ll have blocks for kids of all ages. What will you build?

Just Dance Party

Wednesday, May 23, from 3:30-4:30 p.m.

Join us for a “Just Dance” Party with snacks and study space (for ages 11 to 18).

Back to Kindergarten

Saturday, May 26, 1:30-3 p.m.

For ages 14-18. Drop by the library to play with finger paint, color pages, play with play dough and games. Enjoy snacks and refreshments.

Karaoke Coding

Wednesday, May 30, 4-6 p.m. For ages 11 and older.

We’ll use portable microphones and free coding software to inspire a new generation of programmers and sound engineers. In this workshop, kids will be introduced to coding concepts and basic sound design using simple programs to record / modify their voices and design a beat box. The easy-to-use drag-and-drop block codes let kids create interactive animations and sounds. By the end of the session, kids will have learned how to making their very own beat box.
