PLYMOUTH — PR First, a public relations firm that helps business-to-business organizations share their stories in ways that increase their market visibility and industry credibility, announced the promotion of Nicole Joy Hales, of Plymouth, to the position of vice president, client services.
In this role, she will serve as a member of the firm’s senior leadership team while continuing to serve as the primary account manager for a variety of clients in multiple industries, overseeing strategic planning and implementation, media outreach and content and placement strategy. Hales joined PR First in May 2011 as an account manager and was later named senior account manager.
Hales brings more than 20 years of writing and editing experience to her role, including direct journalism experience as a writer for the Griffin Report and Plymouth Patch. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in media studies from Ithaca College and currently serves as ambassador chair for the South Shore Chamber of Commerce.
“Nicole plays a key role in helping guide the direction of PR First,” PR First President Jim Farrell said, “and this well-deserved promotion reflects the increased strategic thinking, business development, and account management Nicole contributes to our firm. In my experience, I have seen how important it is for an owner to surround himself with good and talented people, and I could not ask for a better group of people to work with.”
