Children’s Room

Book Babies: 9:30-10 a.m. March 14, 21 and 28. Lapsit for children up to 30 months with caregiver. Join Mrs. Davis for rhymes, songs, story and playtime. No registration.

Story Time and craft: 10:30-11 a.m. March 14, 21 and 28. Drop in story time for all ages with adult. Join Mrs. Davis for stories, songs, rhymes and a craft. All ages; no registration.

Read Together, Grow Together with Miss Nicole: 10:30-11:30 a.m. March 16. A 10-week free play group for preschool children and caregivers. This caregiver and child literacy program is for children ages 3-5 and registration is required through Triumph Inc. at 508-822-5388, ext. 208.

Read to a Dog!: 10:30-11:30 a.m. March 17. Come meet Duncan, a registered therapy dog. Duncan will be here to visit and would love to be read to — join us in welcoming him to the Bridgewater Public Library. All ages welcome; no registration.

Very Ready Reader with Miss Nicole: 10-11 a.m. March 19 and 26. Open to ages 18 months to 3 years. Registration is required for this six-week program through Triumph Inc. Call Richard to register at 508-822-5388, ext. 208. Week 2.

Story Time with Miss Emily: 10:30-11 a.m. March 20 and 27. Stories, games, a craft and fun. All ages with adult; no registration.

Upcoming programs

Library Long Range Planning Meeting: 6:30 p.m. March 14, Flora T. Little meeting room. The Board of Trustees of the Bridgewater Public Library invites Bridgewater residents to discuss long-range plans for the library. The board will share last year’s survey and seek input on how the library can best serve the needs of the community.

T.E. Lawrence (Lawrence of Arabia) presentation: 6:30 p.m. March 27. Presented by Bridgewater resident Raymond Ajemian. Lawrence was a brilliant but complicated person who helped shape events in the Middle East during World War I. The lecture is free and open to the public.
