Selectman Neil Rhein and Mansfield college student Kostas Loukos have taken out papers to run in the May 8 annual town elections.

Rhein, recently won a special election to fill the unexpired term of George Dentino, who died this past summer. That term ends this spring.

Loukos, a 2017 MHS graduate and Bird Road resident, is a student at Suffolk University. During his senior year, he was one of the leaders organizing student volunteers helping the town clerk’s office during the 2016 election.

School Committee member Jenn Walsh, Town Moderator Robert Saquet and Housing Authority member Kevin Doyle have all also taken out papers for reelection.

Nomination papers to run for town offices are available in the town clerk’s office.

Prospective candidates should return papers with 50 signatures from registered voters to the town clerk’s office by Tuesday, March 20, at 5 p.m.
