Art Reception and Poetry Reading: Mutual Muses X
Friday, Feb. 16, from 5-7 p.m. at the Cultural Center. Followed by a reading of the Mutual Muses poets from 7-8 p.m. “Mutual Muses X: A Marriage of Visual Art and Poetry” features the work of nearly 100 of the Cape's finest painters, photographers, artisans, and poets inspired by one another’s creations. Saturday Night Music Café and Dance Party with The Clayton / Restaino Trio Feb. 17, 8-10:30 p.m. Adults only. BYORefreshments. By candlelight, café style. Featuring Fred Clayton on bass and vocals and Steve Restaino on guitar and vocals (among other things). These veterans of the international music scene bring their funky blend of Blues, Soul, Funk, & Rock together for an unforgettable evening of toe tapping shuffles, rockin' Texas boogie, Chicago swing, and some emotional and possibly spirit moving, straight up blues. $15/$12 for members, at the door only. A free community dinner will be held Tuesday, February 20, 5:30 - 6:30 p.m. at Northside United Methodist Church, 701 Airline Road, Brewster-Dennis line. The menu will be chili, cornbread, coleslaw, beverages and desserts. For children there will be a movie and arts and crafts following dinner. Please invite your friends.

he Shelter from the Storm concerts are put on by a team of students from Cape Cod Academy. Shelter is CCA’s contribution to the Cape as members of the Barnstable County Human Rights Academy. In short, community service is our organizing principle. Each year, the students decide who they want to help through their efforts.
The Cotuit Center for the Arts presents Winter Magic with Rich Archer and Company during school vacation week: Tuesday, Feb. 20, and Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 3 p.m. both days.
Winter Magic offers magic, mystery, and fun for the whole family. The show will include an array of inventive illusions.
