CARVER — The town of Carver treasurer and tax collector, Lori Henault, announced the third and fourth quarter Fiscal Year 2018 Actual Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills were mailed Dec. 29, 2017.

The amounts due are due and payable by Feb. 1 and May 1 of 2018 and must be received in the tax collector’s office on or before these dates. Postmark date is not acceptable as payment made if payments are not received in the tax collector’s office by the dates listed. Both third and fourth quarter tax remittances were mailed in the same envelope.

Payments made after Dec. 13, 2017, are not reflected on the bill. A parenthesis in either the third or fourth quarter amount due is a credit. Do not remit payment for that quarter.

All Fiscal Year 2018 Real Estate and Personal Property tax bills remaining unpaid after their respective due dates are subject to 14 percent per annum interest from the due date.

The tax collector’s office will be open to receive payments of taxes from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays, from 8 a.m. to noon Fridays and from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesdays.
