Tigerlily is a very sweet, petite black girl who is only about 18 months old.

Though she was trapped in a feral colony, Tigerlily has been friendly, though a little shy, since the day she was trapped. The trapper couldn’t bear to put such a sweet girl back outside, so she asked Ipswich Humane Group to take her in and find her a wonderful family to love her.

Tigerlily got along well with the other cats in the colony, and we think she’d prefer a home with another cat. She will need someone patient who will give her some time to adjust to new surroundings and new people, as she is nervous at first, and she would probably do best with older kids.

If you would like to meet Tigerlily, please apply to adopt online at http://www.ipswichhumanegroup.org. Visit the Ipswich Animal Shelter during our weekly Sunday open house, held from 2 to 4 p.m. at 17 Fowlers Lane.

The Ipswich Animal Shelter is a municipal, no-kill shelter. All pets are spayed/neutered, vet-checked and current on their vaccinations. Find the shelter on the web at ihg.petfinder.com, Facebook and http://www.ipswichhumanegroup.org.
