The plan will help guide the town’s decisions on land acquisitions and management of open space.

BRAINTREE – A second public forum on the update to the town’s open space and recreation plan will be held 6:30 p.m. Monday in the Cahill Auditorium of town hall, 1 John F. Kennedy Memorial Drive.

The plan will will guide the town’s land acquisition decisions and the management of existing open space.

At the meeting, the plan’s findings and priorities will be discussed.

About 40 residents attended a public forum in September, offering comments on undeveloped areas they would like to protect and improvements to existing parks, fields or conservation land.

The town also invited residents to take an on-line survey to gather comments.
