Seasonal Jazz Concert: 7:00 p.m. Dec. 7, Lexington High School, 251 Waltham St. Free. The Seasonal Jazz Concert will present “big band style” music, featuring the Lexington High School Big Band and Jazz Ensemble, as well as the Clarke and Diamond Middle Schools’ combined jazz band, Jazz in the Middle. The concert will be held in the LHS auditorium and is free and open to the public.

A Master Singers Christmas: 4:00 p.m. Dec. 10 at Follen Community Church, 755 Massachusetts Ave., Lexington. Cost: $18-23. Written as a companion to Britten’s “Ceremony of Carols,” Conrad Susa’s “Carols and Lullabies: Christmas in the Southwest” is based on a collection of traditional Spanish childrens’ carols. Follen Church has free parking. Tickets are available in advance or at the door. Discounts are available to subscribers and Greater Boston Choral Consortium members, and from members of the chorus.

Lexington Tea Burning: Dec. 10, Lexington Visitors Center, 1875 Massachusetts Ave. Lexington Historical Society and the Lexington Minute Men will hold the Lexington Tea Burning on the grounds of another sponsor of the event, the Lexington Visitors’ Center. The event will begin with an 18th-century soldier encampment, followed by musket drills, 18th-century cooking demonstrations, parades and music, and culminate with the burning of the tea at 1:30 p.m. Historic Buckman Tavern will be decorated for the holidays and open for free tours.

Holidays Gifts and Greens at the Depot: 1:00-4:00 p.m. Dec. 10, Lexington Depot, 13 Depot Square. Free. The Lexington Field & Garden Club and Lexington Historical Society created handcrafted holiday gifts that will be for sale. The sale will feature decorations, pomander oranges, handcrafted gifts and the scent of evergreen. The arrangements, all created by Lexington’s designers, are small and large, and use fresh and dried materials. There will be crafts for kids and the venue is handicapped-accessible.

Lexington Arts and Crafts Society Holiday Marketplace: Dec. 1 through Dec. 24, Lexington Arts & Crafts Society, 130 Waltham St. For information: 781-862-9696; Featuring the works of over 200 local artists and artisans, the Lexington Arts and Crafts Society. The event will feature: baskets, jewelry, metal arts, paintings, polymer clay/beading, weaving, wood, decorative arts, cards, prints, needle arts, ceramics, photography and gift certificates.
