Boston Children’s Theatre is bringing holiday favorite “A Charlie Brown Christmas” back this year by popular demand.
Arlington performances will take place Dec. 7-24 in the Regent Theatre, 7 Medford St.
Fans of the “Peanuts” gang can enjoy the holiday television special live on stage. This new stage production debuted last year and returns again this year. Join Charlie Brown, Snoopy, Lucy and all the “Peanuts” gang as they produce their own Christmas pageant and ultimately learn the true meaning of Christmas.
Executive Director and Producer Toby Schine is hopeful that “A Charlie Brown Christmas” will also continue to be part of the BCT holiday tradition.
“We had such a phenomenal response to ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ last year that it was a no-brainer to bring it back,” Schine said. “The response was so great that this year we are presenting ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ at three different theaters.”
Additional performances are scheduled for Nov. 25-Dec. 10 at Larcom Theatre in Beverly and Dec. 20-23 at the Calderwood Pavilion in Boston.
